Welcome to the Fountain Auction Academy and its "engine room" - our trainers.

They are -

(1) TONY FOUNTAIN

FAA Founder and Principal, Tony Fountain, is a Certified Workplace Level IV Trainer;a lecturer in auction and real estate training at UWSCollege in NSW; and a member of the prestigious National Auctioneers Association of the USA.

He has had a wide and varied career as an auctioneer since conducting his first auction at age 17 at a furniture sale at The Boy's Club in Grenfell NSW.

Over the past 40 years Tony has auctioneered in every State and Territory of Australia and in Indonesia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the United States of America, selling everything from real estate to cattle and horses, as well as industrial, farming and earthmoving equipment.

He has conducted over 28,000 real estate auctions since 1988.

Tony has always been passionate about giving people confidence to achieve their dreams. Part of his success is undoubtedly attributable to his own auctioneering skills but a very big factor is his ability to communicate with and train salespeople. It was this which led him to establish the Fountain Auction Academy.

Tony is the author of the best selling real estate book "The Complete Guide to Selling Real Estate by Auction" which has sold across Australia and into China, New Zealand, Indonesia, South Africa and the USA.

Tony is also a member of the National Speakers Association of Australia and has addressed many national and international conferences. His career and speaking topics can be found on his Rainbow Chaser website.

He is also an experienced pilot, blue water sailor and scuba diver.

SAM HUDSON

Selling real estate is all about people skills and Sam's knowledge in this field suits her very well to what the FAA is trying to achieve.

With a career in publishing (she owned her own publishing business for a number of years), politics (she was National Secretary of the Australian Democrats and Chief of Staff to former Democrat Leaders Cheryl Kernot, Meg Lees and Natasha Stott-Despoya) and beer (she was formerly CEO of Australian Associated Brewers, the beer industries peak body)she certainly has wide experience in this field.

Sam often comments on the similarities between politics and real estate- they are both about garnering "the vote" and her training sessions within our courses have illuminated many minds to this fact.

She is also Managing Director of Molpir Publications Pty Ltd,an enterprise that publishes books (paper and e-books) for real estate and motivational based subjects.

(3) KYLIE FOUNTAIN

Health and fitness is essential for everyone who wants to lead a long and fulfilling life. It is particularly important for auctioneers and real estate agents, who often work long hours in a variety of conditions. Part of your training with FAA will include a segment devoted to how you can get, and stay, fit and well.

Kylie has wide experience and qualifications in the health and fitness industry.

She is the Principal of "Going About", an organisation committed to facilitating positive changes in client's lives and a Director of "Race Base", a multi-sport training program to suit all levels of fitness.

Her qualifications in this area include:

Certificate 4 Outdoor Recreation

Certificate 4 Fitness

Certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor

Diploma Remedial Massage

Bachelor of Complementary Medicine (ongoing)

Her career has seen her work in Australia as:

Activities Director, Milton Park Resort, Bowral

Yoga and Pilates Instructor with "Fitness First"

Member of the Red Opal Dance Theatre

Snow ski instructor and professional ski patroller
